Flat Pouches & Bags
Flat pouches are the most common Mil Spec configuration. All are made with a 3-seal design except MIL-PRF-81705 (can be 3-side sealed or folded bottom). Seal widths are 3/8” on machine made pouches and 1/2” on hand-made pouches.
All pouches are approved for use by the D.O.D. and marked with the MIL-DTL designation unless otherwise noted on the purchase order.
Gusseted Pouches & Bags
Side-gusseted pouches are made in accordance with MIL-DTL-117 specifications and are approved for use by the D.O.D. Seal widths are 3/8” on machine made pouches and 1/2” on hand-made pouches. All Mil-Spec pouches have a 1/8” loading lip.
Tubing
All Mil Spec films can be converted into Tubing and meet the MIL-DTL-117 specifications. Typical roll lengths are 500 LF and are especially useful when packaging parts with various lengths.
Rollstock
Rollstock is a Mil Spec barrier film wound onto a 3” core and shipped to the customer for further converting. Standard roll sizes are 36”, 48” & 50” depending upon the material. Our converting facilities can slit these rolls to any width and length to best meet the customer’s requirements
